How it works
The scoring system utilizes a weighted average framework to evaluate and rank the four main categories of a fish and chips meal. Each category has corresponding subcategories, where values of 1 through 5 are assigned to each criteria. Each category has a specific “weight” used to achieve an even distribution of points. The totals of each subcategory are added and then multiplied by the percentage weight of each category. These values are then summed and divided by the total maximum point value of 20, giving a final score in the form of a percentage.
Weighted Score =
(Fish x 0.35) + (Chips x 0.35) + (Sides x 0.15) + (Experience x 0.15)
